I don’t know how it happened, but another year has (almost) come and gone. In typical fashion, life whirls by and I’m too busy enjoying it (and working two jobs and raising three kids) to remember to update the blog. So here we are, doing a years worth of updates. First, let’s all ooooh and ahhhhh over the adorably cute cake smash sessions of 2022.
Anthony is back, and he’s one year old! Anthony is a sweet, curious, silly little boy and I have such a fun time with him and his mama. He loved to ‘bang bang’ on his cake, and sing along to his favorite songs at the studio. Happy birthday, Anthony!
Amidst the chaos and uncertainty of 2020, one thing is still true… babies + cake = adorable.
I love the tradition of letting baby smash their very own cake during a First Birthday portrait session. Some babies love the cake, some hate it, but either way, it’s 100% adorable.
Here are some of my favorite First Birthday session memories of 2020. And a big thanks to Melanie at Sweet Stuff Bake Shop (Norton, MA) for creating the amazing smash cakes.
This sweet face is the latest Baby Plan graduate, and it’s been quite a year. I’ve loved watching sweet Emma grow this year and getting to know her family.
I had the most fun morning with these two sweet faces. We giggled, tickled, sung songs, and had such a fun time. The best part was when big sister decided to help her brother with his cake. And what followed was pure magic. Happy Birthday, handsome boy!
This girl… so sweet and fun and silly and beautiful! Her big sisters were all so excited to celebrate Adaline’s first birthday, and she did not disappoint. So many adorable baby smiles, and she sure loved here cake, too! Happy Birthday, baby girl.
Sweet Cooper was back to celebrate his first birthday! He brought along his beautiful big sister and some super cute baby smiles. We giggled, sang songs, and watched Cooper shyly play with his very own birthday cake. Happy Birthday, sweet boy!
Sweet Stella is a fun as she is beautiful. She brought along her perfect scrunchy-nosed smile and lots of giggles to her birthday session. And don’t you just love the winter wonderland set that we created for her? It’s definitely a new favorite of mine. Happy 1st birthday, pretty girl.
It’s hard to believe how much this handsome little guy has grown in just twelve short months. He’s happy and sweet and easy to please, and we all just loved watching him devour his birthday cake. Happy Birthday!
2018 was such a fun year! We celebrated lots of first birthdays, and I really enjoyed designing sets for some new themes and color schemes this year. Also, big shout out to Melanie at Sweet Stuff Bake Shop (Norton, MA) for always making such gorgeous, delicious cakes.
I can’t wait to see what ideas my clients have for 2019!

Another of my little baby planners has graduated! What a fun time we had celebrating his first birthday. He just kills me with those big cheeks and deep thoughtful eyes, but when he got a taste of that cake… he was all smiles. Happy Birthday, little cowboy.
I can hardly believe it's been a year since I first met this gorgeous girl. Mom and dad have a special watermelon themed party planned to celebrate her first year, so went with sweet pinks for her birthday portraits.
These two gorgeous mamas have beautiful daughters at home, and are both expecting a precious bundle in blue any day now. We had a gorgeous evening at the park with lots of laughs and amazing sunlight, and I'm sooo looking forward meeting their baby boys in the coming weeks.
It was such a joy to spend the morning with this adorable birthday girl and her mama. She has the sweetest little giggle and gorgeous baby skin. I also love the simple, organic look that mom chose for her cake smash. Happy Birthday, darling.
It's been such a great year, getting to know sweet Lillia and her family. She's sweet and gentle and oh so beautiful, and I can't believe her first year has already come and gone. Happy Birthday, darling.
It was so fun celebrating this sweet boy's first birthday. His big brothers are just the best, and we had a great year watching them all change and grow. Aren't they just the cutest...?!
You may recognize these sweet faces from their sitter session just a few months ago... but they're back, and now, they're one! I had the best time with these adorable boys and their parents, and just love those big brown eyes and soft baby skin.
Meet Ethan. He loves his mama, silly songs, and his stuffed duck. He also apparently loves bobbers :) We had such a blast watching him dance and laugh at the studio. Happy birthday, happy boy.
