2023 came and went, and not once did I think to publish a blog post! Between working two jobs, and being a mom to three busy teens, the weeks and months literally flew by.
So how about just a quick recap of the year… starting first with some of the adorable newborns of 2023.
This family is one of my favorites to photograph, not only because they’re all the sweetest, but the camera just adores their beautiful faces too. This year we celebrated a new addition to the family, and his two big sisters are already so in love. Welcome, little one.
With an active two year old at home and a very busy business on their hands, mom and dad thought they could add another baby to their family and things would be great. Well things are better than great, because instead of one baby, they got two! Meet Mila and Jaxson… oh so sweet and oh so loved. Welcome to this crazy world, kiddos.
Well it’s official, we have our first round of quarantine babies! and what cuties they are! The past couple of months I’ve photographed some sweet new babes born near the end of this crazy quarantine. I’ve also had the pleasure of setting up the studio for a couple of fun cake smash sessions. The next few months will be full of outdoor family and beach sessions, so keep an eye out for more session updates!
Meet Hazel. She is sweet as can be, and oh so loved by her two awesome big sisters. Hazel is calm and gentle, happy and beautiful. I had such a fun morning at the studio with Hazel and her family. Welcome, little one.
Meet Natalie… the first Piggy Toes newborn of 2021, and she did not disappoint! She slept like a dream and has the most perfect baby skin. Welcome, Natalie. You are so loved.
There’s no doubt that 2020 will be a year that none of us will forget. Schools closed, toilet paper shortage, sanitizing everything, masks, limited gatherings….
But these families will remember 2020 for a much better reason. They welcomed a perfect bundle into their homes.
Let’s look back at the adorable Piggy Toes babies of 2020.
Meet Molly Kate. Such a tiny little lady, already surrounded by so much love. It was such a great day, chatting with her family, while Miss Molly snoozed away. We went with neutrals, shades of purple, and one holiday set, and I love each and every photograph.
I had the best morning with this beautiful family, who just welcomed a new baby sister to the mix. She’s calm and sweet and oh so pretty, and so loved by her parents and big brothers and sister. All of the kiddos were so well behaved, and I love every single image in her gallery.
This family is always such a pleasure to photograph. The kids are as sweet as they are beautiful, and it was so nice to spend time catching up with their mom and grandma. Baby Henry is oh so loved, and he is such a lucky boy to have so many people love him.
It was such a fun morning, spent with this adorable family. Big sis Ava is sweet and silly, while her baby brother is handsome and calm. I loved watching Ava snuggle with her baby.. already such a good sister! So much for love for one tiny baby.
I love when families return to the studio for the second, or in this case, third baby! It’s so fun to catch up with the parents and see how the older siblings have grown… not to mention get in some sweet baby snuggles. This handsome baby boy is already oh so loved. Welcome, sweet boy.
Meet Marissa. She’s just as sweet as she beautiful, and couldn’t have joined a more loving family. Her big brothers love to snuggle and hold her, and mom and dad are definitely thrilled to have a baby girl to balance out their home. Welcome, sweet little one.
I had the pleasure of working with this family almost four years ago for big brother Owen’s newborn session… and I was so excited when I heard he was going to be a big brother. Sweet baby Cora is beautiful and loves her brother oh so much… they are a perfect pair.
It was such a pleasure to spend the morning with this handsome little chunk and his parents. I love the joy and excitement of first time parents, and how they are totally over the moon in love with this new member of their family. We snuggled and laughed, and I can’t wait to watch him grow. Welcome, sweet boy.
Everyone loves a new baby… especially when the baby is as sweet and gentle and little Grayson. He was perfectly behaved for his very first portrait session, and loved being wrapped and swaddled. Welcome to the world, sweet boy.
This tiny boy is oh so loved. Not just by mom and dad. But by his four big sisters, too! What a lucky little boy, to be surrounded by so much love. And he is just as calm and sweet as he is handsome. Welcome to the world, sweet baby Jason.
Meet Norah. Her family recently relocated to the area, and I’m so glad they chose Piggy Toes Photograpy. Norah is as sweet as she is beautiful, and I had a wonderful time chatting with and getting to know her parents. Welcome, sweet girl. (and go, Patriots!)
Darling Emma was calm and sweet for her newborn session just six short months ago, so I wasn’t at all surprised to see that she’s still an easy going, happy girl. We included mom, dad, and big sis in her session, and she was the first baby to try out my new weathered white wood backdrop! I’m already looking forward to her birthday session this summer because I know she’ll be so fun.
This adorable family welcomed in the new year with a new baby… and she brought with her lots of love and joy. Big brother was in full in cuddle mode with, and she gave us the perfect mix of sleepy time, and bright eyes. Welcome, sweet girl.
