Some of my favorite sessions each year are when we can ditch the studio and head outside. Whether it’s springtime in the park, summer at the beach, or fall under the crisp colorful leaves, outdoor sessions always have that ‘wow’ factor that I love!

2023: sweet sweet babies

2023 came and went, and not once did I think to publish a blog post! Between working two jobs, and being a mom to three busy teens, the weeks and months literally flew by.

Love for Luca | Boston Newborn Photographer

This family is one of my favorites to photograph, not only because they’re all the sweetest, but the camera just adores their beautiful faces too. This year we celebrated a new addition to the family, and his two big sisters are already so in love. Welcome, little one.

2022 Holiday Mini Sessions

This year I offered two different sets for holiday mini sessions, and I still can’t pick a favorite. The sweet and cozy Christmas bed matched up perfectly with smiling kids in winter pajamas, but the classic fireplace hearth is timeless and beautiful. Which would you prefer for your holiday cards?

I don’t know how it happened, but another year has (almost) come and gone. In typical fashion, life whirls by and I’m too busy enjoying it (and working two jobs and raising three kids) to remember to update the blog. So here we are, doing a years worth of updates. Summer is here… and despite the crazy, unpredictable weather this year, I’ve been super busy with outdoor park and beach sessions. Take a look at some of my favorites from the past month.

With an active two year old at home and a very busy business on their hands, mom and dad thought they could add another baby to their family and things would be great. Well things are better than great, because instead of one baby, they got two! Meet Mila and Jaxson… oh so sweet and oh so loved. Welcome to this crazy world, kiddos.

Well it’s official, we have our first round of quarantine babies! and what cuties they are! The past couple of months I’ve photographed some sweet new babes born near the end of this crazy quarantine. I’ve also had the pleasure of setting up the studio for a couple of fun cake smash sessions. The next few months will be full of outdoor family and beach sessions, so keep an eye out for more session updates!

Meet Hazel. She is sweet as can be, and oh so loved by her two awesome big sisters. Hazel is calm and gentle, happy and beautiful. I had such a fun morning at the studio with Hazel and her family. Welcome, little one.

Anthony is back, and he’s one year old! Anthony is a sweet, curious, silly little boy and I have such a fun time with him and his mama. He loved to ‘bang bang’ on his cake, and sing along to his favorite songs at the studio. Happy birthday, Anthony!

It was such a pleasure to meet this handsome fella, and help to celebrate his first birthday. His mama though up the cutest ‘Lego’ color scheme, and we had so much fun watching him be silly with his cake. Happy birthday, sweet boy.

Amidst the chaos and uncertainty of 2020, one thing is still true… babies + cake = adorable.

I love the tradition of letting baby smash their very own cake during a First Birthday portrait session. Some babies love the cake, some hate it, but either way, it’s 100% adorable.

There’s no doubt that 2020 will be a year that none of us will forget. Schools closed, toilet paper shortage, sanitizing everything, masks, limited gatherings….

But these families will remember 2020 for a much better reason. They welcomed a perfect bundle into their homes.

Well, I don’t quite know what to say about 2020. I can say that it’s been a whirlwind of a year, so much so that I didn’t even blog any sessions this year! Between teaching full time, switching to “remote” teaching, helping me kids at home who are also learning remote, all while maintaining my own small business and my sanity… it’s been a stretch for sure!

I can say that I’m still blessed with amazing clients, happy babies, sweet toddlers, adorable siblings, and fun clients for mini session.
